So Fall is approaching and per usual the hot drink sales are going up at the ol’ shop. (Despite the fact that we still have 90 degree days here in Pasadena.) It just leaves me wondering what its it that makes people associate different beverages with different events or seasons. For instance, right now I am obsessed with everything pumpkin. If I could stand the sweetness and the adulterating of my cup of joe I probably would be dumping chemically harmful amounts of pumpkin spice in it. Its true. But I don’t.
However, I am still wondering if there is something about the seasons that make us want certain things. Good marketing does not qualify as an answer for even it has its guidlines. If there is something that comes to mind let me know. Or better yet, if there is something wierd that the Fall makes you crave that might be particular to your region of living, put that down too. It just muddles the thoughts better.
